CC is full of energy and loves to be in front of a crowd. The girls danced at a competition at Lagoon on Saturday and did a great job. I had a fun time making the frog costume for her dance team this year. I used stryofoam ball for the eyes. The painter was masking off the basement ot paint and I had the idea to paint her some green frog shoes too!. She loves it. She is so independent and love dancing by herself.

CC's kindergarden program

I love listening to the children sing. I get all teary and sentimental. I love it. CC's class sang some songs and showed a slide show of the year. CC was just beaming as Grandma, Grandpa cousins and Livia, Mom and Dad came it to see her. All the kids made ABC books at home to share with the class and their parents. Mrs Reiber put them on display to look at while at the program. CC was at the parent teacher conference when Mrs. Reiber told me about the ABC book projects. in two days her book was done. She did great but I wanted to keep her and Livia busy so they each make a letter poster too. I also wanted to post a fun project I worked on as room mother of cc's class. Stephanie the other room mom of the PM K class had the idea and I was happy to work on it with her. We took pictures of all the kids making letters and put them together to make a poster for teacher appreciation week for Mrs Reiber. She had been a wonderful teacher for CC. CC had thrived so much. I'm so grateful for such dedicated good teachers.

Dance march 09

The girls had a dance competition and did great. It was in Roy so alot of family came to support them. It was great to see everyone that came. It meant alot to the girls. A really big thank you to my mom and dad who watched Livia for the day. She had alot of fun playing with her cousin Ayana. My parents brought them to watch the performance but the fell asleep. I feel really busy on these days helping three dancers get ready and change costumes and watch everyone and take pictures. I love it but it is crazy!

Erika danced a Hip Hop dance to The Jackson 5 song ABC it was really cute and she did great. She hasn't danced alot of Hip hop and she learned alot. Kenna dance to a Miley Cyrus song " I miss you" it was so sweet. Miley Cyrus wrote the song for her Grandpa after he died. Kenna liked the idea of dedicating the song to her grandpa great that passed away last year. We put her voice at the beginning before the song starts dedicating it to his and telling him she loves and misses him it makes me cry when she preforms this dance. She danced with one of Grandpa Greats old sweaters. It was very sweet. They all danced with their teams and did a great job. CC of course loves to be the center of attention and is performing her frog solo next month she can't wait for that! I wore a hat and it kept getting in the way of taking all my pictures. It would push down the flash. I will never wear a hat to a dance event ever again!

After going through some old pictures looking for some of Kenna and Erika when they were 3 years old for our Mother daughter date. I came across some pictures of them with their ducks. They were 3 the fist time we got them ducks and they loved them so much. We have done it about four years. Last year we passed since we already had the baby kitties. CC loves them too but Livia says "Oh how cute" then when I ask if she wants to hold one she says"NO they have too big feet" and goes love her kitty. The ducks follow the girls around like they are the mother and when the get to big we take them to a small lake near our house. We take bike rides and feed them until they ajust and I think they fly south for the winter with the other ducks at the lake.

After looking at these pictures I am determined to blog more. I love looking at pictures of the girls when they are little. I forget things so easy and taking a picture lets me remember all the fun things we do.

Nutcracker

I was in the nutcracker this year. I was a snow fairy. I liked being in it. Back stage I got to play with my friends. The last performance while I was backstage there was a blackout! I I was running around screaming with my friends it was fun. :)

Good yule

On the Friday before Christmas my Nana and Gramps came to have a Christmas party. We had dinner we sang songs and the Julinessa came!My favorite thing about the party was being together and celebrating Jesus birth. We also had fun putting on a play for Nana and Gramps. I dressed up like a tree and a bird and a bunny. I sang a song to the tune I'm a little tea pot. it went like this:

I'm a little fir tree

growing tall

someday I'll be the best of all

I'll go with a family and you see

a Christmas tree is what I'll be.

They slept over they had a dog named Lucy. It was a Yorkie. When we woke up Lucy jumped on us and was excited. They came to see me in the Nutcracker. My other Grandma and Grandpa came too.

Polar Express Party

My teacher made a little train out of our desks. She put blue paper on it and pretty sparkles. She made snow flakes that hung down from the celing and hung them on the train. It was fun. We went up down and sideways using our imaginations to see things out the windows. We played lots of games like pictionary with shaving cream, don't eat santa and Christmas bingo. My Mom brought everyone hot chocolte and cookies to eat on the train ride. I went home and played in the snow with Livia and then we went back to the school to see Santa. I asked him for a Easel. I also sang in a sing around the Christmas tree at school we sang Jolly old saint nicolas.

How CC thinks...

Me: CC will you please put the wet clothes in the washer into the dryer?
CC: Will you pay me?!!!
Me: No, I do lots of work around the house and nobody pays me. I just need you to help a little.
CC: Okay, I'll pay you!
Me: Okay you pay me for making your lunch and I will pay you for changing the wash. Deal? :)
CC: Deal!
C.C. finishes her work and brings me 27 cents from her bank and sits up to eat her lunch. I reach up in the cupboard and get a quarter out of our change stash. She happily runs away to play and I put the 27 cents into the change stash in the cupboard. I made out with 2 pennies on the deal, got help with the laundy and made her happy as can be!

Thanksgiving 2008

I love my camera I took a lot of pictures on Thanksgiving I love to take pictures. I can do it all by myself.

Thanksgiving 2008 we went to Nana & Gramps house and had turkey and played bingo. I got four prizes from bingo....

1. purple kitty littlest pet shop

2. A spinner toy (it was fun then it broke)

3. 2 high shcool musical note books and pen

4. Gumballs!!!

We also played the candy bar game I stole a candy bar from my dad. but then I lost it. My little sister Liv stole my MMs. I was crying in the bathroom (eeewww)even though my Mom said it was just a game I was sad.

At school we had a Thanksgiving feast. The boys wore hats and they had to make thier hats. The girls wore bonnets and they didn't have to make them the other class had paper bonnets they had to use paper and staples. Mine was not paper I did not have to use papr or staples. My Mom made fabric bonnets with ribbon for my whole class!!! I like it.

Livi got to come and have the feast with us in my class.
